Groundbreaking for Cibola Loop Multi-Generational Center

This exciting project milestone has been many years in the making, and we can't wait to see the long-lasting impact the new multi-generational center has on the local community once constructed.

The Cibola Loop Multi-Generational Center in northwest Albuquerque, designed by FBT Architects, broke ground on May 21, 2024. This 55,000 sf wellness center center will feature fitness amenities including a climbing gym, an elevated indoor running track, a gymnasium and multi-use classrooms. Outdoor amenities will include athletic fields, trails and an amphitheater.

Designed to meet the diverse needs of the community, the Cibola Loop Multi-Generational Center will provide long-awaited services and amenities and foster a strong sense of civic pride. Mayor Tim Keller emphasized the positive impact this project will have on local families, highlighting the center’s role in promoting enrichment, recreation and community building. The project will be constructed in phases that will result in one, cohesive facility, making this center a cornerstone for multi-generational activities and community wellbeing.
