Los Alamos National Bank (LANB) had a vision to develop its growing Albuquerque branch by organizing client interactions around e-banking systems and personal service. FBT developed several concepts to create LANB’s first Smart Banking Center. The end result is a thriving network of connected spaces full of activity and natural light. This model was uniquely suited to the mission and culture of LANB.

Smart Banking Center

The concept is centered around a focused workplace that maximizes shared space, collaboration and access to services. The floor plan is split into three Smart Areas developed around daylighting and views. A streamlined system replaces teller booths and lines with a more comfortable and efficient business-like environment. Customer service is available at every level of banking, be it a simple front door transaction or a personal wealth management consultation.

FF&E

The design integrates a rich blend of interior fabrics and finishes. Soft seating, coffee/side tables, custom coffee bar and pendant fixtures create an inviting lobby. Floor to ceiling glass wall systems create a clean, open feel in private offices. The executive conference is large enough to accommodate meetings and community functions with a custom credenza, two back-lit refrigerators and an acoustical ceiling lid.
