CNM Community College Culinary & Brewing Facility

Albuquerque, NM

To meet the workforce demands of the burgeoning culinary and brewing industries in New Mexico, CNM expanded their Culinary Arts, Brewing & Beverage Management and Hospitality Management programs.

From world-class restaurants to food trucks, macro to micro breweries and distilleries, this program has the assets to properly educate and prepare students for the workplace. The new facility incorporates state of the art equipment, providing the proper resources to students. The project includes two new labs for the brewing program supporting the full process of brewing, packaging and distribution. Distillery and wine programs will also work from these labs.

The project renovates the Robert P. Matteuchi Building’s former bookstore area and adds approximately 7,000 sf to support program growth. Redefining the entrance and wayfinding strengthens the building’s identity and supports community outreach goals. The new facility will allow CNM to satisfy the growing enrollment in their existing programs and add new certificate and degree programs in Brewing and Beverage Management.
