UNM Hospitals Southwest Mesa Community Health Clinic

Albuquerque, NM

This clinic serves as the second prototype example for the new University of New Mexico Hospital Outpatient Clinic functional program. It was the first UNM Hospitals’ clinic to be submitted for LEED Silver accreditation, which was achieved. The building and the floor plan provide an efficient experience with less waiting time for patients, increased staff productivity and decreased environmental impact.

From the beginning, FBT actively engaged all user groups throughout every facet of design and program. This input and cooperation resulted in a clinic that provides quality healthcare for everyone, a multi-cultural community space, and a community healing garden.
