Sandia Resort & Casino Hotel Expansion
We embrace that while a space can entertain the senses it shouldn’t steal the show. It should enhance it. It should help bring people together and inspire. A home away from home.
Overlooking the magnificent Sandia Mountains, Sandia Resort and Casino serves as a deluxe destination resort. This first phase includes the addition of a new 228-room hotel offering breathtaking views of the mountains, 30,000 sf of conferencing facilities, a full-service spa, restaurants, a grand ballroom, meeting rooms, and a golf course with a 16,000 sf clubhouse. A 10,000 sf maintenance facility was also added to support the golf course which re-claims wastewater for irrigating the resort grounds and golf course. FBT Architects worked in collaboration with Las Vegas Nevada’s Marnell Companies to create a design reflecting the Southwest’s pueblo-style architecture with time-worn stucco finishes and stone veneer accents.
