Raised in Peralta, New Mexico, Ryan has a deep-rooted appreciation for the culture, community, and landscapes of the Southwest. His early work in the Albuquerque area shaped his values as an architect—prioritizing client relationships, contextual design, and environmental responsibility. While his experience includes higher education and office projects, his primary focus is creating dynamic, future-ready learning environments. At FBT Architects, Ryan leads K-12 projects grounded in thoughtful, student-centered design. He finds the greatest reward in seeing schools come to life—especially when students and teachers first experience their new spaces. Outside of work, Ryan is a passionate rock climber, runner, and outdoor adventurer who shares his love of New Mexico’s natural beauty with his children.
