Renn Halstead

Associate

Renn strives to create progressive, beautiful, responsive work that focuses on innovation, quality, equity, and sustainability. He grew up woodworking with his father which, along with a brief tenure as a theater set designer, led him to architecture. He is driven by the union of artist and scientist required to make great architectural work—including the challenges such a holistic methodology engenders. Renn has worked on projects throughout the southwest with various building typologies including higher education, office, community center, research laboratory and high-security facilities. He is adept in sustainable and high-performance building design, project management, design visualization, graphic design, BIM and construction administration. When not at the office Renn enjoys carpentry, playing music and getting out into the mountains. He is a voracious reader and tries to snowboard, backpack and fly-fish every chance he gets.
