Louise Janney, PLA
Louise’s experience with regional planning began while she was living in the diverse and mountainous Reno, Nevada. After growing increasingly frustrated with the lack of clarity and transparency in the regional planning process in Washoe County, she decided to contribute her public perspective and ultimately discovered her calling. Pivoting from her earlier careers as a private pilot and cosmetologist, Louise decided to earn her Masters in Landscape Architecture and acquire her professional licensure to pursue her passion for environmental design and creative engagement.
Now residing in Los Lunas, NM, Louise lives with her horse and four cats and enjoys the English equestrian sports of jumping and dressage, gardening and studying how plants interact with the New Mexican climate, insects and wildlife.
