Growing up in Utah, Kara’s appreciation with architectural design was fueled by her fascination with LDS Temples. After graduating with a degree in architecture, she spent many years in Arizona channeling her love for built environments and expanding her industry knowledge through her work in construction marketing. Kara brings her creative and curious spirit to her role at FBT, contributing to proposal responses that showcase how our team addresses each project’s unique challenges in thoughtful ways. Outside of work, Kara’s passion for exploration and design extends beyond proposal writing. As a self-proclaimed hobby queen, she spends her free time hiking and camping throughout the Southwest, while also cultivating new interests in crocheting, stained-glass design, reading and playing a variety of sports.
