As a newly licensed architect, Diana’s journey with FBT has been marked by her unwavering dedication to excellence and her ability to seamlessly integrate innovative solutions into her work. Her story is a testament to the power of combining personal values with professional aspirations.

Growing up, Diana’s family gatherings were always filled with a sense of sharing and community. When preparing to visit family or friends, she vividly recalls her dad asking, “What are we taking?”. The answer was always something to share – be it food, movies or even a helping hand. Diana engaged in this practice of never showing up empty-handed without fully understanding its significance until joining FBT. “At FBT, I realized it’s not just about physical offerings. Don’t show up empty-handed is about contributing, fostering positivity and promoting a culture of generosity and mutual respect.” This concept continues to be a cornerstone of her values today.

Diana is an advocate for integrative software and the convergence of design, precision and data. “I’m always on the hunt for new tools and platforms that can give our design and documentation process a boost,” she explains. This passion for technology not only fuels her creativity but also ensures that our projects are always ahead of the curve.

Beyond her professional interests, Diana finds inspiration in the movies she loves. For example, one of her favorite films, 50 First Dates, serves as a humorous reminder that life often throws unexpected challenges our way. “Some days are like déjà vu, while others bring fresh challenges…every sunrise is a chance to rewrite our story, to improve and to learn from yesterday’s missteps.”

Drawing from her own experiences, Diana notes that if she could offer her younger self a piece of career advice it would be to challenge her inner critic and remind herself that just because you think something is true in the moment doesn’t mean it is. Diana has learned to stay positive and realistic and approaches each day with optimism and a clear mind.

Diana’s journey is all about growth and contribution. These experiences shape who she is and how she approaches both her personal and professional life. Diana’s commitment to these principles not only defines her as a talented architect, but also as an inspiring individual dedicated to making a positive impact in her world.
