Bill Fanning
As a young engineering student, FBT Founder William H. Fanning’s defining architectural moment came when he was exposed to the art of Alexander Calder. He was fascinated by the graceful work of the sculptor and compelled to further explore the world of design (plus, the architects seemed like they were having more fun). Bill has never looked back from that moment and throughout his career cannot remember being bored. He was constantly energized by the variety of work, clients and new challenges. With a focus on educational design, Bill approached his work with enthusiasm and an awareness of the impact the environment has on education.
“I loved working with people who are committed to what they are doing. It is a wonderful feeling to work with people who care.”
