Hollis Moore
With a background as an ecological artist and art + environmental educator, Hollis joins the Groundwork Studio team passionate about designing socially and ecologically resilient spaces. Every place carries a multiplicity of stories. Hollis is dedicated to uplifting stories of place through community-engaged designs that center eco-cultural relationships. She is thrilled to be a part of the Groundwork Studio, where collaboration across differences, disciplines, and species is paramount to the team’s integrative and context-specific approach. Her experiences working with diverse communities and ecologies across the region make her an advocate for the role of landscape design in environmental justice, community self-determination, and climate adaptation. Outside of work Hollis spends her time in her garden and on her bicycle.
