Erika Robers

Community and Natural Resource Planner

Erika joins Groundwork Studio with a background in education, community-based research and program development. Her love for the outdoors, plants and nature-based education led her to pursue a degree in community, environmental and natural resource planning. Planning outdoor student learning events and her time organizing and teaching recent immigrants informs Erika’s community outreach practice. She loves the possibilities for community innovation and resilience embodied in green infrastructure planning and seeks to support the creative community work that Groundwork Studio is involved in. Erika brings an equity lens to her community planning work and focuses on relationship building as the key to solid planning. She is an avid reader, gardener and camper who loves exploring New Mexico with family and friends.
