Amy Bell, PLA, ASLA

Principal Landscape Architect

As founding principal of FBT’s Landscape Division, Groundwork Studio, Amy brings over fourteen years of site and landscape design experience to the FBT team, focusing on interactive environments, authentic community engagement and creative placemaking. With a background in environmental education, she is particularly sensitive to what and how we learn from the shape of our surroundings. Her design approach prioritizes collaboration to develop creative yet practical site solutions that help communities build capacity and support stewardship. Amy’s twin children are constantly opening her eyes to new perspectives and the relationships between order and chaos. When she’s not at work, she and her family are busy building forts and exploring the Bosque.
