Amy Bell, PLA, ASLA
Principal Landscape Architect

As head of FBT’s Landscape Studio, Amy brings nine years of site and landscape design experience to the FBT team, with a focus on educational, therapeutic and play environments. With a background in environmental education, she is particularly sensitive to what and how we learn from the shape of our surroundings. Her design approach prioritizes collaboration with the client and design team to develop creative yet practical site solutions that address the whole environment. Amy’s twin toddlers are constantly opening her eyes to new perspectives and the relationships between order and chaos. When she’s not at work, she and her family are busy tending bees, picking raspberries and chasing coyotes out of the henhouse.
