There’s No Place Like Home

FBT has settled into its new corporate office in Albuquerque’s Uptown neighborhood.

Open, simple yet highly functional stations partner nicely with the branded wall color and fabric/floor-tile textures within the central core. All of the materials used in the space — floors, walls, lighting, acoustics, furniture — are materials the firm regularly uses for client projects creating a working showroom for clients.

To keep project costs down, the design team used cost-effective materials in innovative ways to achieve the desired aesthetic effect. The new space is designed with the intent to minimize overall energy usage, allowing as much natural light into the space as possible and using occupancy sensors.

The project has been a resounding success. In their previous space the firm had been spread out over two floors and the practice studios divided up. With the move to a new space the team was brought together into an efficient and uplifting environment that promotes collaboration and speaks to the firm’s way of working.

FBT employees report increased satisfaction with the new location, while the firm’s management has observed a renewed energy in the firm since moving into their self-designed digs and it’s importance in retaining and attracting top-notch talent.

We invite you to admire some snapshots of our office below, and please say hello if you’re in the neighborhood!
