FBT Architects Announces New Leadership Promotions to Support its Vision for Success

FBT Architects continues its legacy and vision for success with strategic advancement of two key leaders in the firm. FBT is pleased to announce the promotion of Brenda Pinion and Michele Carter to executive management positions as Associates in the firm. Both Brenda and Michele will contribute in the firm’s growth and expansion across the Southwest with advanced roles that come on the heels of the FBT’s success in the region including New Mexico, Texas and Colorado.

Brenda Pinion has been named Chief Financial Officer/Associate. In her former role, she served as the company’s Comptroller for the past 17 years, managing the business aspects of the firm. Brenda will play a tactical role in supporting FBT’s leadership and project management teams. She will be responsible for providing guidance on business matters through accurate and real-time accounting data, while assisting the firm with the overall implementation and management of finance, human resources and administrative functions. “I’m humbled and honored to be part of the forward-thinking, positive new leadership here, and l am committed to helping this company achieve great things” says Brenda. “Brenda has been a valuable asset to this company for many years. Her leadership and financial direction for the firm is extremely sound and has made my life much easier,” says Art Tatum, President of FBT.

Michele Carter is promoted to Director of Business Development/Associate. Over the past six years, Michele has steered the marketing direction at FBT with a highly energetic and creative approach, driving the firm’s success with both public and private sector clients. She will continue to advance FBT’s design vision by creating innovative marketing solutions and strategies for business development that promote the firm’s growth and expansion. “FBT is a great firm,” she says, “and I am so lucky I get to collaborate with creative people and call that work.” Michele brings an enthusiastic focus with her leadership in the firm’s strategic planning goals forming a strong awareness for a firm-wide marketing vision. “Michele is full of creative ideas and goes above and beyond what is expected of her to ensure that FBT delivers quality service and produces exceptional results,” says Art Tatum, “She has created a consistent marketing strategy for the firm. Everyone at FBT knows and understands the marketing message, vision, and goals of the company, and that is reflected in everything they do related to design and client interactions.”
